Random rants

I know I've been lazy with the posting lately, but nothing has been going on at all.
I'm a little bored with being retired.
I hope that I'll be working by the end of the week.

My stress is almost all gone.
Now, I find little things to worry about.
It's crazy.
I've been having weird dreams off and on for about 2 weeks.
Thursday night I dreamed that Saturday was the end of the world and everyone knew it.
In the dream I told Randy we might as well go shopping. Worse case was that the world wouldn't end and we'd just be a little overdrawn in our checking account.
Leave it to me to think about shopping when I think the end of the world is coming.

Have I ever mentioned how funny my husband is?
The other day we were having a conversation about something so random I can't even remember( so obviously it was important, right?).
We didn't agree ( apparently he forgot that I'm always ALWAYS right)
So, jokingly I got all up in his grill and asked him if he wanted to dance this bitch out.
My husband proceeded to bust out his version of the running man.
I laughed so hard I thought I'd pee myself.

Last week he sent me an email telling me how happy he was that I was going to be home that night( We're still getting used to this going to bed at the same time, me actually being home at night thing).
I sent him one back and asked him why he was so excited.
He sent back : Cause I'll take you to the Candy Shop.
Have I ever mentioned that my husband is so White he's tranparent?
Sometimes the most random things come out of his mouth.. It reminds me everyday why I married his punk ass.

My sister asked if she could watch the girls on Saturday night.
That's right - She asked.
So, Randy and I decided we'd go out.
Our friend Justin wanted to go to Karaoke so we said alright ( we're always down for some Karaoke), but then the bar changed and it's the one bar I hate going to cause they're always so fricken busy you never get to sing.
We decided on dinner and a movie instead.
The last movie I saw in theaters was White Noise and I was pregnant with Faith.
So, yeah, it's been a while.
As the day proceeded I changed my mind. I caught myself singing Ice Ice Baby to Faith while I was changing her.
In the shower I was bustin out some of my best Tori Amos and my sick rendition of Black Velvet ( not so pretty by the way, not to mention I don't know all the words)
We decided to go with dinner and the bar.

So, we get to the bar and the Karaoke lady, who we've " known" for a long time comes over and talks to Randy and I , but really, more Randy. I try to make chit chat and I keep getting shut down.

" I get the feeling she doesn't really care for me, " I told Randy after she left.

" She doesn't like you for the same reason she doesn't like Jenna, " he replied.
" You married in."

As, I've mentioned before, Randy and his 2 friends used to own a Karaoke company back in the day. She used to come in to the Dawg House ( one of the bars ) every now and then. She had a crush on our boys.
Jenna married one of the owners as well.
So, we're on her black list.

To which I say : Don't hate the player - Hate the game.

The company has been over with for almost 3 years now.

Too Funny.

Randy's second 29th birthday party is this Friday. He gets 2 parties because not everyone could make it to the 1st one because of work.

Plans are set and everyone is coming, but I forgot one minor detail.

The babysitter.

I forgot that it's Lent and my mom helps at the church's fish frys on Fridays.

I have 4 days to figure it out. If worse comes to worse I'll stay home.

Who had the magic stick first?

I've fallen behind on posting.
Nothing is really going on though.
It's been a lazy week.
I haven't gotten up before 9am ( My husband rocks).
I've watched lot s of TV and cleaned the house.
I have to clean again already, but hey- what else do I have to do?

I won't start working until next week some time.
I'm waiting on my background check to come back and then I'm good to go as long as I don't knock off any liquor stores in the meantime.

Grace is loving having us both home during the day.
Daddy works down stairs and comes up to visit us.
I love it.
We all sit around and sing the Wonder Pets songs.
I have no idea how I can handle all this excitement.
Earlier this week, Dora and Boot's went on a trip with a " magic stick"

I wonder if 50 cent has ever seen that episode.

I don't think it's the same magic stick he's referring to.

Day 3 as a trophy wife

I haven't done anything the last 3 days.
I showered and put pj's back on.
Sunday I slept ( I did work overnight until 6am Sunday morning).
Monday I work up with a damn UTI.
I slept most of the day.
Today, the UTI was still there, but better.
I didn't sleep all day, but I did take a 2 hour nap when the girls were sleeping.

Randy's been working from home this week, cause, well, now his boss said he can.

Tomorrow I'm going to go fill out the paperwork for the on call agency where I'll be working.
Getting back into the nursing field.
Good thing since I'm going back to school to finish my nursing degree.
I can work when I want and it's really good money.
I just wasn't meant to be a trophy wife for longer than a week.

Besides, it'd probably end up being a bowling trophy.

We're supposed to be in for snow tonight through Monday..
Everyone is freaking out!!!

People are acting like we don't live in Nebraska and have never seen snow before...

Granted, it's been a weird winter...We haven't even used our snowblower yet and it's the middle March.
But now they're saying 9-16 inches.

Did I mention that I have no place to go for a few days?
Haha. I win

LETS ALL TRY THIS ( thanks Jamie)

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
SO TAKE TOO MANY PICTURES, LAUGH TOO MUCH, and LOVE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER BEEN HURT because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

" Way up North I took my day..All in all it was a pretty nice day.."

Today is the day.
This is my last post from work.
It's around 10pm and I will no longer be a helicopter dispatcher as of 6am.
Only 8 more hours to go.
Sadly, this means that I won't be spending ridiculous amounts of time on the internet and stalking former classmates on MySpace as I have been for the last year and a half, but what can you do( I only do that when we aren't busy...I do work).

I'm sad to leave the people I work with, but I know that I'll still hang out with them. I'll actually get to see my friends from my other shift who I haven't hung out with for 4 months ( When I work they're off and when they work I'm off).

It's all good.

"Come on let's get to it. I know that we can do it"

Grace's 3rd birthday is coming up in a few weeks...Holy crap. I swear she was just a little peanut in the NICU yesterday.
She has informed us that she NEEDS a Dora Party as well as a Dora bike..

Yesterday she was sitting on the arm of the couch acting as if she was riding on a motorcycle
" Grace, what are you doing?"
That kid looked at me as if I was a grade A window licker that was a half a step away from having special needs.
"I'm riding my couch bike, Mommy..." And I swear to you she rolled her eyes.

Yeah...So, she's getting a Dora bike for her birthday..
I mean, come on. I can't have her riding the couch and thinking that I'm the weird one.

Dispatching Emergnecy Air Trasportation on St. Patricks Day isn't much fun...

Nerds of America UNITE!

There are a few shows that I was made to watch growing up that I can't stand.
Star Track is one of them.

I hate it.

Randy, however, loves it.
And every night I'm at work he watches it.

Now she asks to watch " Captains".
She cried when I turned the Channel the other day.
Damn it.

I told Randy when she's 17 and doesn't have a prom date I'm blaming him.

I see hate mail coming for this one.

Shrinky dink

Zoloft is my new friend as of yesterday at noon..
It's all good in my hood.

Coming full circle...

It started with me.....Then Corrie...And finally K...

Now all of my head bitches have babies ( all girls) at home...
So, please go tell K Congrats if you haven't all ready.

Rock on..

This doesn't mean that it's my turn again, does it?

My last day as a helicopter dispatcher is Saturday.
I'll miss my job but I sure as hell won't miss working 6pm-6am.
Proud of me, aren't you?
Not only that, but I'm going back to school .
I'm going to finish the one year I have left to be a nurse.
Damn, I rock...

That's the plan until Randy can make me a trophy wife

I go to the Dr tomorrow...They person I saw last week thinks I have PPD..
Ah, whatever...Give me the happy pills...

I'll keep you up to date...
Until then - Continue to rock out with your cock out people.

Annie Out...

Oh, BTW....I have fallen off all the wagons but refuse to feel bad about it.
