I don't really have an excuse as to why I stopped writing. I was busy. I re-read this blog this morning, and thought " Wow, did I really say that?!" Maybe I'm just old and no fun anymore? But then I decided to cut myself a break. If you know me then you know the last year has been a rough one. Talks of divorce, moving, loss of friends, fires, and moving again. Honestly, it's been a mess. But things have started getting better. First and foremost Randy and I are in a good place. Mistakes on both parts are done and forgiven. It's brought us closer. And I will never forget that the kids and I are alive because of him. If people don't like that, well, then they can suck it. I didn't ask for approval. I love him, and he loves me. It's been a crazy ride these last 10 years, and things will only get better. We've already been though hell, right?

Grace is now 8, and going into the 3rd grade. She's a smart cookie. Straight A's, and a mouth that cut you down or build you up in 3 seconds ( I wonder where she gets it ). She's reading at a 5th grade level, and enjoys iCarly with a passion that makes me wanna throw up in my mouth a little, but she's a good kid. She's gonna be a firecracker when she's a teenager.

Faith is 6 and in Kindergarten. She is the sweetest, most loving little girl ever. She's our girly girl, and would wear a dress everyday if she could....with matching accessories *sigh* She's a social butterfly like her sister. She'd sit down and color all day if you let her.

Toby will be 3 in October. It seems t go so fast. My last baby is potty training. He is very into his trucks, and Lego's. He's best buddy's with his Daddy. He even sneaks into our bed more nights than not, to cuddle with him. I don't mind at all.

Randy...Well, what can I say about someone who is the very core of my being? He knows me, understands me, and despite all my flaws, loves me more than I've ever been loved. He's an amazing Daddy. My kids are very lucky. So am I. He's working a full time job, as well as a part time consulting job. There are a few things in the works, and hopefully we will have good news soon. He's trying so hard to make our lives better, and I'm more than proud.

Now, on to me... Where to start? Well, 33 is right around the corner. It'll be a good year. I demand it. I feel like I just rolled with the punches for a year. Rarely did I punch back. I took the back seat and went for the ride. Well, no more. I refuse to be broken any longer. Maybe that's why I'm going back to writting. I HAVE to find joy in everyday things again. So, in a way, I'm starting over. Welcome to the ride

I've had a few emails asking what happened, and I wasn't ignoring them , I swear, just haven't had a chance to answer them. So, I'll just tell everyone the story.

Friday, October 15Th was Toby's 2ND birthday. We took the kids out to dinner and then watched a movie with them. Once they went to bed, Randy ran to the store in get the last minute things we needed for his party the next afternoon. We had just moved at the end of July, and we were SO excited to have a place where we could finally have everyone over, and not have to have the party at my parent's house. Ran and I stayed up until 1:30am wrapping, and getting grab bags ready. We went to bed content and excited.

At 3:38am Randy was screaming at me to wake up. I was confused. Why the hell are you screaming at me? I'm sleeping. He screamed again, " THERE'S A FIRE!" I didn't smell anything. Our smoke alarms weren't going off. I didn't even have a shirt on, so this must be a mistake. I stumbled into the living room, and it was as bright as the middle of the day. Our very large wood deck was engulfed in flames as far as I could see. Just then I heard the alarms in the apartment below us. They were faint, but they were going off. I ran back into our room, threw on a shirt, grabbed Toby, who had snuck into our bed sometime in the last 2 hours, picked up my cell phone off the night stand and ran. Randy had already got the girls from their loft bedroom, and we were out in 30 seconds. I remember hearing a faint popping, and not knowing what it was. It was the glass backdoor. It broke as we were shutting the door to leave.
We were only able to grab the kids. We didn't stop for keys, purses, wallets. And the saddest of all, our beloved pets. That still reduces me to tears.

When we got to the parking lot, no one else was there. I turned my back to comfort the kids, and Randy was gone. He went back in and was banging on doors. He opened te door to the apt. where the fire started and got a face full of black smoke. Evey one in the building made it out.

Even when I heard the door break, I thought " Okay, we're gonna have some damage, and probably have to say with my parents for awhile." It wasn't unit I watched the deck fall off, and saw flames coming out of Toby's 2ND story window, that it finally clicked. We are watching as we lose our home. I turned around and vomited. I begged the fire fighters to get my pets, but there was nothing they could do. It was a grease fire, and it went fast. We moved the kids to where they couldn't see the building, and waited for my parents to come get us. We didn't grab car keys and we were parked in the 1st spot next to the burning building. I honestly think I went into shock.

My Mom took us back around 11am. There was nothing left but our bedroom. BUT our van only had a little damage, and we had a key made. Which was kind of an ordeal because we didn't have ID to prove it was ours. But we eventually got it. There was nothing to salvage. And we didn't have renters insurance. We were waiting to renew our car insurance

In all this, it has affirmed that people are good. Neighbors from other buildings brought us blankets, and the kids snacks while we waited for our parents. My Aunt, Uncle, and cousins gave the kids clothes, toys, and food for the next week, along with enough paper goods to last us forever. My parents went to the store at 6am and got us all clothes. My brother gave us a place to live. Friends gave us clothes, and threw a Spaghetti Dinner, Because they did that, we could pay our rent. Randy didn't have any vacation left, and had to take off the next 2 weeks. The complex gave us another apt. like the one we had. Really, I can't even list all the amazing people that have helped us. We may have lost everything we own, but we're the luckiest people alive. The fire department told us that we would not have made it out if we had been in there when the back doors had broke. We are alive because of Randy. We escaped with 2 seconds.

The fire started when the neighbor below us came home on his lunch break, and fell asleep with fries in a deep fat fryer. I know how hard it is to work overnights. This was just a horrible accident.

The kids are doing well now. On the 15Th of this month there was a chimney fire below us, and once again, we were rushing out in the night. Everything was OK, and we were able to go back in. We didn't argue when they wanted to sleep in our room that night.

So, that's the story. We're the luckiest people alive. When I stress now ( especially with Christmas right around the corner) I try to remember that. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HOW YOUR LIFE CAN CHANGE IN 2 SECONDS!!!!!

We moved in July 25! Guess what? Our house burned down in the early hours of October 16. We lost everything, including our fur babies, Tigger and Spud :o( BUT WE'RE ALIVE!!

FYI Our apt is the one on the 3rd floor. The story above it is the Loft and other bedroom. The Stairs, of course burned.

The great debate took over mt house over the last few days over what we're going to name this little boy. Mind you, I am only 15 weeks along and most people don't even know the gender of their baby yet.
I guess we're just lucky that our kid was waving his boy bits in the air for the Dr. at our 12 week ultrasound.
And of course, Randy was super excited that his boy's penis was large enough to be spotted so early.

We kinda settled on Brian Tobias, named after Randy's best friend, Brian, and we would call him Toby.
But more and more I really like William Randolph, for both our fathers, and we could call him Randy.
However, Big Randy ain't diggin' that idea.
Not one bit.
I swear that girl names were 100% easier.
I guess we'll see.
Tonight I told Randy to say hello to little Randy, and he said, " Hello, mini me".
For now, I'm taking it as a good sign.

We're really quite boring these days.
Randy is working 2 jobs and I'm a SAHM.

So many things to say that I don't know where to start.
I suppose I should first apologize for just ditching the blog,
it just got to the point where all I seemed to do was complain about my life, and well, quite frankly, I was sick of it.
I felt boxed in and couldn't write what I wanted because everyone and their mom read it.
In the future, much later down the road, I will start a new blog and not give out the address.
But in the here and now here's whats going on.
Last November the girls and I moved to Texas while Randy stayed to sell the house.
Texas was great, however the job market blew ass.
Randy was able to come visit once a month.
It kinda sucked.
However, something good came out of his January visit- Our son, Toby, will be making his 1st appearance late this fall. ( CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!!!)
So we ended up moving back because the house never sold and Randy's health insurance wouldn't cover me while I was in Texas.
We've been back since Easter, but I've put this off by saying " oh, I'll post tomorrow......"
I am nothing but a procrastinator.
So, long story short - we were gone now we are back.....+1

The past weekend brought my 10 year High School Reunion.
I wasn't planning on going, but I totally changed my mind at the last minute.

I've wanted a part time job for awhile.

The Concert was awesome! Traffic however, not so much.
The amphitheater where it was held is about 15 minutes away from my house.
We left here at 2
Got there at 5:45 - Missing Fuel, and most of BuckCherry.
Fucking traffic.
Anyways, So Papa Roach came on and sang Broken Home and I started to tear up.
Get ready for a story:
When I was in High School I took Pottery my Sr. yr. It happened that the most popular guy in our class, Jaron, did too. We became quick friends and I always enjoyed hanging out with him. He was just one of those people that was easy to like. We would talk about going to parties and drinking kool-aide ( neither of us drank back then) Crazy random conversations that only we could pull off.
On my 22nd Birthday it just so happened that he was at the same bar as I was. We hung out, laughing about the kool-aide we used to drink, drinking our beers...singing karaoke ( Ran by Randy,and his 2 friends Justin and Brian).
Jaron was becoming obnoxious, and kept asking to sing Broken Home, which they didn't even have.
Anyways, long story short, Jaron fell asleep on his way home, crashed into a culvert, and died that night.
Broken Home will always be his song in my eyes.

It's funny how a song can bring up so many emotions. I have my own list that brings me to tears:
In my Daughters Eyes - because of my kids.

Broken- Because of Emma, the daughter we lost. I hope she didn't feel any pain.

Family Portrait - Because when I was young I used to pray that my parents would just get divorced and be done with the fighting- For my sanity and my brothers sake.

I'm sure I have more I just can't think of them right now.

So, I had to go to Wal-Mart to get huge trash bags ( to re-trash the maggot infected nonsense in my fucking driveway) and as I was leaving I see a guy returning a large flat screen TV . I heard him say ( while he was arguing with the customer service lady no less) that he bought it on clearance. As he begins to get irate he turns around and I see he's wearing a shirt that says " I make stuff up".
Ummmmm, Duh.

Seriously? Couldn't he have wore a different shirt?!
And why yell at the poor customer service lady?!?!

Raccoons attacked the trash bags a few days ago.
